How we label what we show you.

Our rules

• No number appears unless it has a named source or is marked “illustration”.
• Where a range is our own professional judgement, it is marked “Tunstall view”.
• Where we have no sourced range, we say “Discussed in review”. We do not fill the gap.
• We use our own data for a benchmark only when at least five organisations contribute to it.

Your score

Your readiness score is the average of six area scores. Each area is scored from 0 to 100 from your answers, using fixed points that we set and review. A “don’t know” rating is left out of the service score. If you give fewer than three service ratings, that area shows “insufficient data” and is left out of the average.

Broker lists

Broker lists come from published information about each firm, filtered by your countries, lines and size. They are always in alphabetical order and are not a ranking. Each entry shows when we last reviewed it.

Published sources

Published sources for specific ranges are named next to each range in the paid report. This page will list them as our benchmark library grows.
